Partners in Hope
After surviving a fire at a very young age, Face of the Foundation Johnny was given new prosthetic ears. Your contributions allowed retired CIA Disguise Specialist Robert Barron to provide new ears for this passionate, inspiring and courageous 18 year old. Upon receiving his new ears, Johnny was overwhelmed with his transformation. As a Batman enthusiast, Johnny stated “Now all I need are Batman earrings”, which were quickly provided for him.
Strutting Their Stuff
Thanks to you, Faces of the Foundation were provided a once in a life time opportunity to walk in New York Fashion Week. In 2015, Glory and Juss represented the Courageous Faces Foundation and all people with a medical difference as they wore and showcased clothing for designer Gregory Taylor.
Champions of the Foundation Glory & Juss.
A Whole New World
Through your support, Face of the Foundation Glory, became the first college graduate in her family, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in criminology. She is continuing her education this fall when she will be working towards her masters degree in early childhood education.
Feels Like Home
With winter setting in, a new ADA Wheelchair Platform Lift has been installed at home for Face of the Foundation, Maddie. The lift has given new found freedom and security to this energetic young woman. Your contributions continued to expand her independence and quality of life through the installation of a new ADA shower. Maddie is a remarkable young woman who loves anything Disney, doing makeup and listening to music.
